I am very sorry to inform you that the STONED JESUS + special guest SAMAVAYO tour needs to get cancelled due to the ongoing war in Ukraine and the fact that STONED JESUS is an Ukrainian band currently stuck in their country.

For the moment those dates can't be rescheduled as we don't know when the band will be able to tour again, but we'll keep you in the loop for possible future touring periods.

This is terrible news and we all hope this nightmare is going to end somehow soon... As it's hard to find words for all this we'd like to ask you to publish a statement from STONED JESUS (statement below) alongside the tour cancellation info by wednesday this week (March 16th) from 12pm on. Please find attached the poster with a "cancelled" banner for your use.

The STONED JESUS members also call out for charity actions to support Ukraine. One example: ticketholders can decide if they want the money back for already bought tickets or if the money will be donated to a charity action of the venues choice. This is totally up to you, but the band would really appreciate any kind of support.

“This spring should’ve been about celebrating the tenth anniversary of our most important album, Seven Thunders Roar. Hitting the road, meeting the old friends and making the new ones, playing our music, spreading the message of peace and mutual understanding. Unfortunately, right now for us and our whole country it’s all about survival.

 We’ll see each other soon, when the dictator and his horde are defeated, and the new Stoned Jesus album will also be released this year. For now - don’t pray for us, rather donate to Ukrainian charity via link in our bio. The Truth is on our side!”

Formé par Igor Sydorenko à Kyiv en 2009, STONED JESUS a rapidement dépassé le stade de la langue de bois. Le deuxième album complet du trio ukrainien, « Seven Thunders Roar », fait converger le doom, le prog et le grunge à leur manière, et la pièce maîtresse de l’album, « I’m the Mountain », d’une durée de 13 minutes, compte actuellement 15 millions d’écoutes rien que sur YouTube.

L’album suivant de STONED JESUS, « The Harvest », sonnait comme un mélange de MASTODON, PORCUPINE TREE et SOUNDGARDEN, et leurs concerts charismatiques ainsi que leurs tournées incessantes ont permis de doubler, puis de tripler leur nombre de fans en quelques mois seulement. Avec près de 500 concerts au cours de son histoire, le groupe n’a pas seulement tourné en Europe et en Amérique du Sud mais a également partagé les scènes de festivals avec des groupes tels que THE PRODIGY, GHOST, UNKLE, LIAM GALLAGHER, SLAYER, KORN, RAMMSTEIN, THE OFFSPRING, GOJIRA, BRING ME THE HORIZON DREAM THEATER et même le tout-puissant BLACK SABBATH !

SAMAVAYO mérite bien d'être considéré comme l'une des pierres angulaires de son genre. En près de 20 ans, ce groupe a trouvé sa place et s'est imposé comme une valeur sûr au sein du genre Heavy, Stoner et Psychedelic Rock.
En 2020/2021, le groupe a travaillé sur le nouvel album "Payan" et a hâte de le présenter sur les scènes à travers l'Europe. Le nouvel album comprend des hymnes énergiques et résolus qui sont faits pour démolir les scènes des clubs et des festivals.
